Cy, I wouldnt buy a lifted truck with gas prices the way they are. Even the little trucks can be pigs when they are lifted.

As far as the child seat, I would look for a quad cab. I put my son in the back of my Ram 1500 Quad Cab and you have to put the front passenger seat pretty far forward for it to fit. Definitely try putting a car seat in the back before you make your decision.

The red one is very nice looking, but $6K for 183,000 miles, no thank you, besides I never will own a Red auto, they are bad luck!!

Black looks nice but agree on the lift and kind of beat look, but it only has 118,000 and it is a recalled truck (95 to 2000) for roted frames, you have till 2015 to get the recall if it is not roted right now.
And they pay you 1 1/2 the Blue Book excellent value! You might make money on that one?

Cy, children need to be rear facing for the first year. My bruiser son is 6 months old and has outgrown his infant seat which was $279 with the stroller. He is already over 20 lbs and my wife went out last night to buy him the next level car seat. She bought him a Britax to the tune of $219 Thats a total of $500 on car seats in 6 months
