It may be fake but it looks like the one I was in, a fellow named Frank that I worked for as a teen owned Sunoco gas station in Plainfield NJ. Big time racer and built some outrageous cars, he loved the Nova. Believe it or not he won the Baldwin Vega from the hot sh!t young guy whos father paid to have it built. Pink Slip racing. The guy had money and loved cars but could not drive worth a crap and missed the launch. I remember Frank telling me his father paid cash for it, had a six month or something wait for the car and the son went around and was picking up some rep in the area for beating some pretty fast cars. He decided to come down to the local hot rod garage and picked the wrong guy to slap with the glove, wanted to do it for big cash and Frank talked him into doing the race for pink slips.
Frank did look good behind the wheel. He sold it though, someone offered him big bucks for the Vega at Englishtown one night. We all went fishing on Sandy Hook off the beach that night with a bonfire going, Frank had a big smile and a heavy wallet
