Well my wife and I finally got down ta Beaufort Sat morning. We had a good road trip (3.5 hrs) getting there. We checked into the Inlet Inn and walked up to the widows watch at the top of the inn and the wind took my favorite Ocracoke hat right off never to be seen again. We walked the streets and looked at all the old houses built in the 1700s &1800s. We saw the house Blackbeard once lived in and lots of other neat sites. We ate some of the best crabcake sandwishes Ive ever had! Sunday we rode on down to Harkers Island and got some pics of the Cape Lookout Lighthouse. Its definately a beautiful place down in that area. Id love ta live there! Ill try ta get some pics up this week. I saw 2 v20 center consoles on the waterfront Sat and 4 more parked in yards on the drive down there. Theres one still sitting on a boat lift on the waterfront, looks like its been there a while. Wish I could've taken mine but it was too far ta pull it for just one nite. We had a really nice time overall!!!

Hopefully, I won't be here, but that's another story. Lately, I haven't had time to enjoy the view, but that should change also. Give me a holler if you're going site seeing, I might be able to point you in the right direction. One of the things you might want to do is take the ferry over to Cape Lookout and spend some time on the beach. The ride alone is worth the price.
