long time reader 1st time posting ......restoring a 1980 chris craft scorpion 211... bought it for 500.00 off craigslist with trailer,rebuilt the transom (with a little help from everybody hear)put in a new poly fuel tank, in process of grinding out a few cracks and filling and sanding hope to be in the water in another month bought an old 1985 235 johnson to power it runs perfect but sucks gas as i understand..... pics to follow as soon as i fiigure it out

I always liked the lines of the Scorpion, similar to the V-20 but I think the Scorpion looks tougher.

i like it too, like the v's also, hearing how these boats handle i am really getting anxious to get it in the water but got to remain kind of patient till i am done.... i am moving "up" from a 1973 16" trihull so it should be able to handle the chesapeake a little better anyway
