I wish I had the money. It's been on Ebay for quite some time now though. But seeing a boat like this for this cheap, really points out how bad things are right now in our economy.

those old hats didn't bring much when times were better, those old 8/53's are a ticking time bomb, waiting for some one to spend$$$$$$$$$$$$$$
heck, that slip the boat is in will cost a lot more that the boat

"pricey" There's one in Morehead City, NC for sale over a yr now for $38,500 and it's a 74 model 46ft Hatt.

theres one in Murrells Inlet for around the same price, with a pair of "Penske 450 8-53's" Those motors can't last long at that power setting. A lot of those ol Hats had a full keel as well, most of them have had the keel cut off trying to get some speed out of them
