From what I have read, alot of the blown powerheads have been from poor set-up. The dealers don't want to take the time to set them up properly with the right prop for the hull.
ferm you are 100% rite i call it dealer retardation mine wasnt running at the proper rpms and I told the dealer several times and he said no its fine ... till the power head went then I switched dealers and brp even paid for my new SS prop
