			How many and how are they arranged? I am having a new aluminum tank made and I need to tell them how I want them done... 83 v20 60gal belly tank

			I think mine has 3 or 4 of them.  Mine are wellded in laterally. Hope this helps.

			lateral plates running across the bottom of the tank? any idea of how tall they should be?  anybody have pics of inside their tank? |

			They are the same height as the interior of the tank with holes trimmed in the side edges and bottom to allow the fuel to pass through. The best mental picture I can describe is to take a shoe box lid and cut it in half. Then stick the two halves into the shoe box evenly spaced with the sides with the "lip" down. p.s. after thinking about it they are actually a little shorter than the interior height of the tank.

			I would think any gas tank maker would know what needs to be done! All you should need to provide is out side dimensions and were you want you fill and draws at.
