The flounder were caught at several different locations around the cbbt. We power drift live spot & croaker for them. The tide had started out when we got out there and was ebbing the entire time. We quit around 1 pm. *As far as depth goes we were in 40 to 25 ft. most of the time but the structure is more important than the depth. We lose allot of lead but we usually catch bigger than avg. fish as we use larger live baits that the small flounder cant deal with. *Hope this helps.
Stinky: Thats a nice drum there. ALL the drum we caught were released on this trip by the way. We ate flounder, tilefish, and seabass for dinner.. MMMMM good! |

Nice to see you've got your MOJO back there SP. Things in my neck of the woods are heating up. Flounder on the wrecks are rockin' right now. Spades are everywhere as well. Water in the bay looks so nasty that I haven't bothered with fishing inside. Next time I catch a break I may try bayside.
Nice report....

Lance: Have to get you to give me an education on the inshore waters around Chinco. I do spend some time there on the weekends sometimes.

Hey, we can do that. I hope to resume a somewhat normal life after 7/8. We'll see how it shakes out...
