Default Offshore fishing out of NY, NJ

I'll be in company training in Parsippany NJ and am looking to do some fishing maybe while there. *I'll be there mid-end of July. *What's biting this time of year? *YFT's are down south now. *What about marlin, sail, swordfish? *Any suggestions? and how far is that from Parsippany?

Forgot to mention that I'm not looking to go the Flemish cap either, just maybe an 8-10hr day if that. Probably be fishing with green horns and that's all I can take of that.
Thanks ahead of time guys!
Steve

Steve Parsippany is about 80 miles from any good place to go out in the salt. It's about 40 miles north of me. A bunch of good head boats go out of the Atlantic Highlands, Keyport and environs. Look up (google) fishing Raritan Bay. There is almst always a mixed bag of inshore species thru the summer. Good shark fishing and I think there should be Tuna off shore but it will be a haul to get to the waters and the charters are pricey unless you are splitting up the costs.
If I am around and you want to do some fresh water Laker Brown and Rainbow trout fishing or go after some Hybrid Striper they are both 15 minutes from my house but be advised that the trout fishery is mostly an evening into the night situation once the water gets summer warm. Of course the Jack Daniels can be poured over ice and is unaffected by summer heat ;D. So let me know if you want to get out for a night. I won't be able to do more than you and one other in my GSpot. Unless they are super models in which case there is always plenty of room ;)

I think any tuna trip leaving from the northeast is an overnighter.
The charters have to get out to the canyons.

Thanks guys.
I think Savannah is about the farthest from the stream of anybody. It's a 65nm hike to bluewater.
Willy, thanks for the invite, I'll have to see how many of the lady trainees are in for some night fishing(alot like night putting)-I'll get back with you on that ;D
I'll google it tonight, I'd love to catch some Bluefin tuna. tasty.
Thanks again
