One of the guys at work had a small Toughbook with a Sprint card in it today, I was very under impressed with it. It was slower than dial up.
I think I may just do the wifi in the house for now and use other peoples wifi's when not at home. I wouldn't use it enough to justify it. Thanks for the tips guys.
