I know a few on this board have put in a Navman F3100 fuel flow sender, but I don't recall if anyone has connected it to thier GPS. So just incase no one has mentioned it their is a misprint in the book for the NMEA connection. They have it backwards. The wire they say is "NMEA In" (White wire) is really NMEA out and vice versa. I just went through this pain on my dad's boat this weekend. My sis and I went in on one for an x-mas gift for our dad and we just got installed. Now that it's in though, I love the thing (I tend to use my dad's boat as much as he does...since I'm still V-les at the moment). Oh, there is one more drawback to this thing.... You can hear the "Cha-Ching" of the gas being used every time you look down at the monitor ::) (which, in our case is the first thing you notice when starting to look at the instruments.... :-/ ) And at an average of 2.5 mpg a 14 mile round trip adds up quick! It sucked seeing we used 5 gallons just taking the boat on a little 30 minute shakedown cruise / checking out the new toy...uh, I mean important peice of gear... ;D
