mexicans hate amercians...every one of them that now carry american flags in protesting wish they were carrying their mexican flag like they did before they found it that wasn't getting them anywhere and causing a backlash.....they look at us like suckers......the ones that come here now to work hard is not the problem..its their kids that will grow up here thinking america OWES them something while turning our neighborhoods into ghettos like east los angeles,rise of the mexican gangs across the US....its definetly the end of the US as we know it.

Everything you guy's are saying is true but I have a little different perspective. I believe life in America now would be better if the government had MUCH tighter controls of the borders. (Heck I can grow my own lettuce.) But remember that America has always had imigrants who were ruining the country. During the 1845 potato famine it was the Irish who were generally hated.

Little different though, our country had an immigration policy and needed people and let in many different nationalities. What we have now is people by the millions stealing into our country like thieves in the night and being rewarded. Pregnant women coming across deserts and in the back of produce trucks etc. so that they can show up at an emergency room for delivery. Voila an American citizen.
We are such fools I am ashamed :'(

I agree with ya on the rewarded part, I hate that. Just can't hate people just for looking for a better life. The booing Miss America part just shows that no country has yet cornered the market on stupidity.

As far as the illegal alien problem is concerned there are two possible solutions that I can see. Either 1) get a grip on the borders or 2) let America devolve into a 3rd world country. Seriously, when there is no benefit to coming here nobody will. I think that process started when NAFTA was signed and American companies kept their offices here but began closing up manufacturing plants and sent the jobs elsewhere.

Last thought on the Irish (and I'm 50% Irish). Many people don't realize that a large percentage of the Irish population in America arrived illegally through Canada. (Quote is from

I'm a moderate conservative living in an extrordinarily liberal portion of a notoriously liberal state. *Lots of pent up rage... that kind of thing. :P

I saw the news clip of the boos,
the pagent was in Mexico and the boos came from Mexicans and Venezuelans supporting Hugo Chavez.

I just think that is a dispicable act of ignorant people.
They were booing because of Bush'e policies and imigration.
Like booing will make a point.
It will, it will piss off our lawmakers and hopefully
the wall will be built.
