I liked the hole thing till I saw that also!!

I don't think I will ever own another boat with out a full transom.

yeah that makes the boat junk to me as well that low transom and only one screw forget it. not to mention it's a mercury too man that boats doomed

Man, just put a piece of clear plexiglass on the back of that boat and you wouldn't need a fishfinder--you'd be able to see the fish under the water ;D ;D

I think the wood on the floor in front of the motor folds up to block the waves from comming in.

Take a look at the scuppers in a full transom V20, they are way to small to shed any significant amount of water. Now take a look at a notched transom boat like the one shown above. If the notched transom boat takes a wave it can get up on plane and shed the water. Now take a full transom boat and try to shed the water through the scuppers :-/

Think Mulv could be right on the draining issue, but for me and the kids, I prefer a transom that is closed in.
