I know MJ said discussion is over on this and it is.

I just want to offer a public apology to Charlie. Please allow me to explain so that you guys don't think I'm one of those nutty Christians you so often hear about today.

I misunderstood Charlie's comment. I took his comment to be mocking the fact that Jesus Christ was pierced through His side while He was being crucified. Hence His side was hurt... I wrongly assumed this was common knowledge.

Well, after some clarification from Charlie, I think we can chalk this one up to a simple case of misunderstanding.

Therefore, I want to publicly apologize to Charlie and to the rest of you for causing any problems on the forum.

Charlie, I really am sorry for wrongly accusing you of blasphemy. Please forgive me.

Now, let's get back to boating... ;)
