What mileage are you guys getting with your 5.4 Triton? I have a chance to get a rediculously cheap 98 Expedition w/5.4L and 56000 on the clock!

Thanks guys, I went ahead and bought it! 98 Expedition Eddie Bauer w/5.4 Triton.

Now I feel like I have a whole group of V-20 experts including a handful of Ford truck guys to ping when trouble rears it's head!

No tow package on it unfortunately, but I only move her 2 miles down the road to the marina and back these days. My buddy has a 2500 for any kind of hauling. This is my first Ford as I've been a GM man my whole life. My Dad has always had Ford trucks, though. The Ford paint is awesome! Man, some of the scratches and nicks I buffed out of the paint- all without any swirl marks!! I'll post a pic for fun.

as you can see from the first page i was a Chevy man for many many years and I am hoping I made the right move to Ford??
I just did not like the things I was seeing in the chevy's when I was looking at them.
They were leaking all over the place!! I don't think I saw one that was not leaking around the CV Joint seal!!
Thats a $125 each side repair. Then I saw pleanty with rear end leaks,.
I just like a leak free truck!! My Blazer in that pic, that I still have has 175,000 miles and there is not one leak any where!

Well i wish us both luck with are new Fords!
