Default Pourable transom material.

I've got a free 1 gal sample of the Arjay 6011 pourable transom material on its way to me. I had hoped to get an already laminated piece but I guess this way I can come to my own conclusions about its workability and such. I'll keep everyone informed (if anyone's interested). ;D

Funny I was thinking about the same thing as we all could get one of those free gallons and send them to you. Let us know how to get one.

;D ;D ;D ;D ;D. Slow down folks. I'm only looking into it. My 88' has alot of space in that transom. From my calcs I'm looking at about 15+ gallons. This is based from the seacast folks saying a 5 gal bucket will fill approx. 1000 cubic inches (actually 1155 per the conversion) and assuming a 2" transom void. That's why I asked about the thickness of our transoms a while back - I was trying to calculate how much I would need. Now, if I can get 15 of you to place a free order?????????????

More to come...........

Maury

Be careful about the transom having voids into the inner hull. Mine did and I had to install pieces of glass and other material to reduce the likelyhood of losing too much into the bottom.
