Default Installed Bimini and New Seats ( PICS )

I installed the bimini that actually came with my old V20.

I found 2 deck seats on Craigslist for $40 so I snatched them up and bought a new helm seat. *I need to order a matching helm for the passenger side.

I replaced some old undersized rear cleats with a pair of stainless cleats which I removed form my last V20 before I took it to the dump. *Its amazing all the parts that I got off that old girl before she met the crusher.

Lookin' good. 8)

A fellow barner put a deposit on my boat today. It's going to be his boat for tooling around the Delaware River. (He has a Hydrasport with a new e-tech for the big water in Cape May.) Maybe you'll see it around.

Mulv, nice setup! What seating arrangement did you have previously? I want one of those deck chairs in the "loveseat" version. The double one.

C'peak, congratulations!

Thanks for the compliments guys :)

Ches, Glad to hear about the quick sale of the V20. On a side note my check for the shirt order will be in the mail tomorrow, sorry for the delay.

BR, I had a lounge seat on the passenger side and an old vinyl helm on the drivers side. The deck chairs are nice and stable, they have rubber feet that keep them from sliding around and have a low wide stance so they won't tip. I figure when I don't need them, I'll just fold them up and put them in the cuddy or leave them at home. I have to order anoher helm seat for the passenger side and I think I'm going to use those stainless toggle bolts to mount the base. I just have to wait for Boaters World to ship the seat.

Mike, What looks like straps going to the bow is actually clothes line that I use to support the boat cover. I forgot to move it before I took the picture. The bimini has 2 straps that attach just in front of the windshield and 2 additional straps in the rear. I would like to find a canvas shop to fabricate a clear canvas window for between the windshield and the top at a reasonable price.

Mulv, if you can, adjust the straps on your top so the canvas is more on level plane w/the boat...it'll cut the air easier when you're underway...looks like air will push down on top now which will work against ya!!... ;)...great lookin' V20...you got a STEAL on those foldin' chairs...my 2 were $100 each back in '99...you're right ;) they work GREAT!! ;D ;D ;D

Reel, the prices are the same today. After looking at Mulvs chair, I went to west marine to get a price and they are still 100 bucks a piece. Mulv did get a good deal.

Guys those things really do work well...they're wide, don't tip and well cushioned...makes for a comfy ride...and when you don't need 'em, leave 'em out...I like easy... ;D ;D ;D...mine are over 6 years old and startin' to show their age...wish I had stored them in a big leaf-bag like I's told to... ;)...
