This is what he says
Hi Bill, It is a semi-V design. Not built down with a keel. All of the performance related questions depend upon load of course. I found the plane happened at around 2300-2500 rpms at around 12-13 knots. Cruise speed is 14 knots loaded (at 2800-2900 rpms) and 17 knots with tanks half full and 2 people on board. Wide open throttle is 4500 rpms and 29 knots empty, 25-27 knots depending upon load. Fuel capacity is 115 gallons in two tanks, one 85 gallon fiberglass centered between stringers aft of main bulkhead, and one 32 gallon aluminum forward of the same bulkhead. I never figured the range. There is a "Floscan" fuel metering gauge included in the boats equipment. The boat is hand laid fiberglass construction. Decks are supported by pressure treated wood framing. The draft is 18 to 24 inches, depending upon how deep the out drive is lowered. I will attach added pictures to show cockpit arrangement, waterline etc. My livewells and fish boxes are custom made and are removed from the boat to go on the new one. There is thru-hull seacocks to plumb what you choose to set up. Thanks, Bruce Peters ps: The pictures below are before the bottom was being painted as she was in my driveway last spring. The bare areas are where the bottom paint was rubbed off by the mooring hawser.

Had to check it out. If I could afford the rates here to keep a boat on the water this is what I would have, just dreaming ;)

It's said that late model fiberglass tanks are tolerant of Ethanol. I don't know what year that would start.

Thats a good question??
I know there was a guy here in mass with a big Bertram that had a teak deck, and was going to cost him $10,000 to replace the fiberglass tanks. But I am sure it was much older like 70's I think.

It seems like a bad idea to make a gas tank out of fiberglass. But I guess they have been doing it for years.
