			bump for the weekend......

$2,000 No-BS price..... A lot of value here! The motor alone can be resold on eBay for $1500 (already seen several sold ones this vintage). Strap it to a pallet and freight it! That would leave you into this for $500! Heck, then sell the Loran-C with Antenna etc, there's guys out there LOOKING specifically for the XJ-1, for a $100 or $200 say......(seen guys pay even more than that) Then the SPARE PROP (damn good shape BTW)......gotta bring a $100 or more. Boat's almost free now ;D |

I will say this...... That steel plate has been there for quite some time now, and the boat was used the same as always after installing the plate for a NUMBER of the past years. The boat has not been used the last couple of years for reasons OTHER than the transom. (Health, personal stuff, etc). It sat covered. The transom, while showing some flexibility if you violently shake the motor by the skeg LOL, does not show any signs of stress cracking in the glass, etc, so it can't be THAT bad. I've seen worse. That's about all I can say about the transom. I am selling it as "needing transom work" regardless, and it is priced accordingly. ;) |
