That 15 hp Johnson would look nice on Old School.....a matching pair. I think I have settled on needing a 20" shaft though. ???

Phester, where is that motor located? *Are you looking for one yourself?
I am not 100% certain, but I don't believe it is a "freshwater" motor. And you know what?, it looks EXACTLY like the 15hp that Hammer posted [4th pic down]Duh. Whalenkn, the motor is in Northport, Long Island. I am not going nuts looking for a kicker, if I stumble onto the right one, I'll definitely grab it ;)

Kev the motor that was on her was a suzuki long shaft 9.9 hp
so that is what is was measured and mounted for, although you do have some play with the adjustable mount .

no I have not. The guy selling it is not "actively" advertising it so I'm sure he's still got it. When this crappy weather blows over [finally] I'll be back that way to finish the job I was doing, the motor is two houses away. He also has a nice little trailer, 5star , I believe, it would fit my 15' tin boat just right and I think he said 150.00 for it. Maybe I can get a package deal. We'll see.

willy.....that's what I thought. I have contacted a guy at work about a 2005 Merc kicker that I THINK is long shaft but can't positively confirm since he told me he measured 18"......I have asked him for the model number but no response yet. He last told me he foudn out there was a problem with the kill switch or something and had ordered a part.

That said, when I saw this Johnson I thought it would look so purty next to the 115. Too short I am sure. bummer.......

I kinda like the 90 hp cowl on the 110, kind of like a sleeper, maybe I could put a 175 on my 225 ;) 8)

I was driving home from a job yesterday and saw a guy selling an 8 hp johnson, 20" shaft, 2 cyl. late 90's. Is 8 hp enough for the v20? It appears to be in good cond.....not mint cond. I didn't nail him down on a price but he did say "around" 500.00.
