Default it fits right in!

I was struggling with the lack of cooler space in my V, I wanted to keep the area behind the console clutter free so the logical approach was to make the changes in front of the console.

I removed the original “just for looks” (small front cooler seat)

and somehow fit in one of my 152 qt meat packing cod fishing coolers…( Macojoe's fluke slaughter coolers) :o :o

The end results are great. Yeah baby!

Besides been a tripping hazard, the original cheap cooler brackets would not fit tight around the larger cooler, So I went back to the drawing board to design a bracket that would hug the corners of the large cooler.

This is what I came up with,

It's made of 1/8” stainless steel, with a dull sand blasting finish, the large eyelets are nice to tie things down. In the future, I want to dip these brackets on rubber paint used for elect. insulation purposes, but that’s a winter project.

Now I have a two person seat in front of the console and an extra large very well insulated fish box, all tucked away without taking away walking space around the console, noticed how the T-top frame and cooler widths are the same? The original non insulated fish box up front is now a tackle/odds and ends storage area.

Gonna fill-er up tomorrow!!! ;) ;) ;)
;D
