That would be a 25" shaft motor on a jack plate, on a 20" transom. Nothing wrong there.

You're absolutely right Hammer; they do mess up auctions on both ends of the deal--for the seller and for other buyers who were bidding on the item with good intent.
I've lost a few auctions to deadbeat bidders only to have the seller relist the item and the next time around it sold for more (and I've seen the same situation where it sells for considerably less). Either way, people should only bid on things they really plan to buy. There should be some huge penalty enforced on people who prove to be deadbeat bidders. Okay, enough on that subject. Somebody needs to buy that boat...
