Default Claim to fame...

My V is definately NOT the prettiest on the site and, with a late '80s 150 hp she won't be the fastest. But I'll bet all of Hammer's donuts for the next month that it's the BEST TRAVELLED boat on the site.

You might recall that I bought it in New Jersey and had it hauled to Cailfornia. I was getting ready to put the new Cali registration stickers on and peeled off the old registrations. Turns out my baby has been registered in Jersey, New York and Florida before travelling cross country.

I'll bet there isn't any HID research data yet available to trace the history of boat ownership like on automobiles.

Interesting!

To the best of my knowledge, the PD has never left South Carolina (except for trips to Savannah).

She's here to stay. Salmon season opens Saturday. Weather permiting she'll wet her keel in the Pacific for the first time on Sunday.

I'm the the 4th owner of my V that I know of. She may have been like a cheap 20 Ho and passed around a few times before I got her. From all the past owners, I've pampered her the most.

I'm the 3rd owner of mine, but we all live within 2 miles of each other. That said, she's had alot of water under her keel and her trailers have traveled many many miles over the roads of the east coast.

I know both prior owners of my boat. My friends X farther in law and he sold to him then 1 month after he purchased a 150 johnson for the boat I purchased the boat for $500.00 more than the paid for the engine. I have the original bruchure and a ton of manuals and other stuff that has been purchased for the boat over the years. Its about three inches thick and I've added my share of things and one day someone will get this with the boat and it kind of tells its history.

Yeah... Cheap Ho's respond to pampering. Although in my jail they respond even better to free dental care.
