Its not on the Island that's for sure. But I bought right before it went outrageous and I'am just getting the boat down there been doing fixerup things to the place its a DW trailer/vacation home. I think I'll like it there.

Nothing wrong with a DW, that's what my folks have.
I've been going since the early 80's. It has definately grown since then but it is still a nice quiet place to spend time. I can remember going down there in Dec. or Jan. in the 80's and it would be like being on the moon, no one around. Now with all the golf courses there are people year round.

AMEN, My wife's Family has a place down there since the 80's also, and I know what you mean. But I still think it's way better than Myrtle Beach, Man it's very crowded.
