Know you have me worried, this is the exact one I got:
http://www2.northerntool.com/product-1/200333678.htm My axel is tapered (forgive my ignorance but I assume that means it starts off around 1 3/4 and comes to a rounded point?), but this one as well as my current one both have the 1 3/4 diameter.
