git-r-done! ;D...yup i have a teleflex binn control that i'd like to use since its already mounted.. i think i would just need the cables to connect to it.....chum...is it backwards? lol

i'm on hold pretty much till i can get a 1/2" drill bit to drill mount holes in my stand ..i modified the stand tonight it was really wide, like 45"..now its just wide enough to fit this motor...26"...plus re-inforced the mount 2x6's with a 3/4" piece of hardwood luan ..should be strong enough to hold it now.

shopping list for motor is:

1. new or used control cables
2. new wiring harness with key
3.new or used factory manual
4.new or used Jackplate
5. Gauges

which gauges will i need for this motor? i have a speedo, faria tach, and gas/battery gauge, a tilt/trim toggle switch....whats a good tach for this motor?
