well more wiring done tonight and worked on the Evinrude 225 i picked up over Easter.

Well today after all wiring and other stuff i decided to install a new lanyard in the boat since it had never had one i thought it would be a nice addition. Here's the dash after all mounted.





Here's the back of the ign. switch and control panel. The white net has the warning horn inside it.







Here's the plugs i ordered from Jameco.com one is to connect the motor harness and the other is for the boat harness to the fuse panel.





Here's the fuse panel wired



Here's the 2 lower gauges fuel and voltage.

nice work skools. That is one area where I do NOT excel, wiring and wiring diagnosis.....yuk.....why is the warning alarm wrapped in that mesh stuff?

wrapped up to protect the main wiring harness from it's weight in one spot and to keep out direct water spray.

THanks i hope it looks good to you guys i strapped up all the wiring with c clips for low voltage wiring, i know the pics are hard to know where it's looking but i was under the dash taking the pics.

pictures for Hammer lol this is the 1990 motor i picked up over Easter. What ya think i only gave $50 for it, 225 Evinrude 25" shaft.













Took off the heads to look at the salt and to my shock very little, the compression is 90 psi on all but 1 it has 80 so i took the head on this side first and found cylinder has some scoring, i'm going to re-ring her any way then. The marina said it was scrap and they had sold the power pack off due to bad flywheel, all it needed was magnets re-glued, dummies lol.
