I've never been able to figure out drift socks so I use a bucket ...Frank

Lead core/wire line is exactly what we are doing. Trolling Bunker Spoons and T & W along the bottom. I am going to try the "Bucket system" tomorrow and then invest in a trolling plate in the next few weeks.

This is probably a dumb question but do you drill holes in the buckets? ::)

I use a 6hp Johnson mainly to save on gas. 3.5 is about slow as I ever troll tho'. Usually closer to 5 for Dolphin.
