Hey Zebra,
I'm about 1hr from there, and I know what you mean about charcoal, it's by far the best for cooking. If you want to take it up another level(and I highly suggest you do) look into natural lump charcoal if you haven't already. It is pre-burned hardwood with no binders or filler or other crap in it, just pure carbon. I have been into the charcoal thing for years and have even become a dealer for a grill called Primo. They are expensive but totally awesome. Check them out online www.primogrill.com. I will be up north next monday if you need someone to check that thing out. I almost bought one of those webers before I got into the ceramic thing. Ken |

I USE GAS IN A "FORCE 10", CHARCOAL IS GOOD BUT MESSY IN A BOAT AND A PAIN IN THE A... TO DISPOSE OF.
AT HOME IS A DIFFERENT STORY, I BUILT A GIANT ARGENTINIAN GRILL AND USE WOOD (MEZQUITE OR HICKORY) AND LET IT BURN FOR HOURS AND THEN COOK THE MEAT VEEEERY SLOW LIKE A ROTISERIE. DOWN HERE WE HAVE SOMETHING CALLED "CHINESE BOX" IS A BIG WOODEN BOX WITH THE TOP PART OF METAL, YOU STICK A WHOLE PIG IN THERE ON TOP OF BANANA LEAVES AND GUAVA LEAVES AND PUT THE CHARCOAL ON TOP AN LET IT COOK FOR HOURS. I'VE GOT TO GO,I'M HUNGRY. LESTERUS |
