Hammer that is always the way. One of the other boats I really liked when I was looking around was the older Bertram Moppie. A fellow near by had one that he had restored and it was one of the nicest boats I have ever seen. Could not find one in anything but total restoration needed condition and even then for a good chunk of change.
Well feeling high as a kite, finally brought home Old School and running around getting things squared away on it I go down to a local hardware store and there in the parking lot is the restored Moppie with a for sale sign on it. $2500.00 more than what I had paid for my boat. I think they call it LIFE :-/
