Like I said in a previous post, show up when least expected.
Glad to see that the motor did finally arrive. Definately a weldable piece, but I suggest taking it to a reputable welding shop. If arrangements are made ahead of time, the shop could complete that job in less than 4 hours. That is to do it correctly. 15 minutes to slap a $hit weld on.
