Default Blood on the Deck!

MJ will like the first photo. *Its our first steelhead caught on the Macattack. It took the spoon reel good that's why all the blood*

Caught this sheepshead at about 8am. *It weighed in at 6.5 #s. *They had a tournament going on and there was a 13# sheepshead leading it.

Team photo for Aug 1st. *95* and no wind. *Caught the sheepshead at 8am and the Steelhead at 11:45am. *The lake conditions did not change a bit.

Nice fish.

MJ will only like it if you didn't wash the boat afterwards.

The sheepshead we have here in NC are saltwater fish with black and silver stripes, but the same shaped body.

Your right he won't like when I tell you I rinsed it down as soon as the fish was put away. *What I could not rince away was the blood on my V20 Tee, *as I was taking a close up the fish flipped sending blood everywhere including my shirt. *My wife is still trying to get the blood out. *Billy Mac *;D

Do you eat your sheepshead? *Only way I know to make it taste good is to boil them in heavily salted water and then dip in melted butter or cocktail sauce. *Poorman's shrimp

Ours are very palatable, must be all the barnacles they eat.

Sheepshead? Hmmm, I wonder if thats the same fish we call "fresh water drum" down here in NC? The fish we call Sheepshead is a salt water fish and like the others say has black and white stripes.

Nice fish there Billy Mac, and is that a weber grill on the porch. Are we grillin fish? When i use to do more scuba and spear fishing, the guys i learned with always gave me hell if i brought up a sheephead. Always looked for Hoghead snappers. I just shot the sheephead anyway. Does look flat out there. Good Day... Z
