any input on this subject? i have no experience with aluminum but i hear that it lasts longer than zinc. anybody use it?

Well, were are talking SACRIFICIAL anodes here right. Your outboard or outdrive is made of Aluminum. You want to use zinc so that it strays away instead of your important parts. Now in freshwater they use something other than zinc, magnesium for freshwater only.

hey guys i heard that if i run an aluminum prop i should use zinc... if i run stainless i should use aluminum... anybody know anything about this?

;DSalt Water ZINCS only....prop don't mean didly, has to do with electrical polarity and path of less resistance..
