Zebra is right on . . . Wellcraft has a section of their site for specs on older models back to 1985. Also you can check the gallery's history section . . . for the same model in 85 or 86.

Just so we're talking apples and apples, do you mean "deadrise" or do you mean "transom angle"? Page 3 of the PDF here... http://www.eaglegps.com/Downloads/Ma...Files/hsns.pdf ...illustrates transom angle. Aside from transducers, transom angle comes into play with things like trim tabs, jackplates, outboard brackets, etc. |

If you mean transom degree . . . it's usually b/w 12 and 14 degrees on most boats. I'd wait and measure your boat. You can use a Square (and do some trig.) or use a steel protractor.

Get the tool above from home depot or another hardware store. It's the fastest /most accurate way of measuring. It should be something like 12 or 14 degrees . . . I can't remember.

| Re: anyone know transome degree of 1988 wellcrafts MEASURING THE TRANSOM ANGLE: Place a carpenter's square, with the long side (22.½") under the keel or to the outside edge of the hull, parallel with the chine. When the short side (14") comes in contact with the transom, take the measurement (see sketch) between the inside corner of the square and the boat transom. Each 1/4" is equal to 1° in transom angle. This is from ArmstrongNauticals site. http://www.armstrongnautical.com/Brackform.htm
