Have been on a 28'er and a 32'er, both cruisers...we "engineered" some rod holders on 'em and caught dolphin and Kings...good seaworthy hulls both...good ride...
But what amazed me was the SLEEP I got on the 32'er...that was years ago and to this day, moored at North Myrtle Beach Marina, I haven't forgotten it nor have I EVER SLEPT more soundly...dunno why...think it had something to do w/the A/C... 8)...if gas ever gets so high as to prohibit boats, SR could start makin' SLEEP chambers!... ;D...
