we bought a 75 22v about 81. came with a small block ford with an I/O. musta been about 89/90 when we pulled the block, glassed her over and hung a bracket on her. picked up a real nice 225 evinrude and she ran like a dog without a leash. lasted us until about 02 or 03 when the floor started to get soft and the transom just took too much beating. cant count the times we had that old dog 30 miles or better offshore. just got rid of her two weeks ago and it darn near brought a tear to watch her end up in the dump. great old boat. hull built like a tank and a great ride to boot.

Have been on a 28'er and a 32'er, both cruisers...we "engineered" some rod holders on 'em and caught dolphin and Kings...good seaworthy hulls both...good ride...

But what amazed me was the SLEEP I got on the 32'er...that was years ago and to this day, moored at North Myrtle Beach Marina, I haven't forgotten it nor have I EVER SLEPT more soundly...dunno why...think it had something to do w/the A/C... 8)...if gas ever gets so high as to prohibit boats, SR could start makin' SLEEP chambers!... ;D...

lol i've got a 25 footer she rides good too never slept in it though. it has the fishing package. not as fancy as the reg. ones.
