Default V21 Rod Holder Setups

I'm in need of adding more rod holders to the V-21. I would appreciate input from some of the board's V-21 owners as to how they have handled the situation.

Would like to end up with 6 holders for feeshun and maybe 4 more for just holdin the rods. Currently set up in basic fashion with the 4 flush mount factory holders in the gunnels.

I'm probably gonna go ahead and get a couple of rail mount clamp on jobs, mainly for fishing while anchored to mount up front on the bow rail - one on each side. These won't be too good for trolling, unless you plan on trolling straight the whole day! Those will be sweet cause you can slide that cuddy door all the way up and have great access to them and start the fight on the fish right there while your 1st mate clears the rods for you!

I do have a 4 spot rocket launcher type that would go accross the back, right where the removeable transom door is, but the way the holder is designed won't allow to have my 94qt cooler back there too.

I've got some ideas, but mainly want to hear from ya'll to see if there is something I wasn't thinking about.

Oh yeah, MJ I know you are gonna point out that one on the outside of your cockpit coaming - that's sweet, but the V-21 doesn't have enough coaming to do that, so that's out the window.

I got rod boxes too, so don't know about more on the gunnels. Plus, I'm too chicken $hit to cut a big hole in my gunnel.

Thanks
