First, no anger is present on my side. I'm not insulting anyone. I didn't use derogatory words like dumb, idiotic, stupid, snowflake, etc. The only thing I did was post facts. I used labels, well established for years now in internet jargon, to describe a particular type of person, . Troll is a descriptive adjective identifying a particular type of person. TDS is the same thing. These are not derogatory name calling, just identifiers.


I deal with truth on a daily basis, in everything I say and do.

The truth is I never said that facts were useless. Please show me where I said that. And yes, I agree with you that real facts, not the made up, spun lies that the left wing controlled media puts out, are critically important to our Country's history and future. (What a shame the Dem's don't).

So I have a question for you and all Dems.

I'm just so curious to know!

Last year, when Conservatives worried that a Biden victory would result in massive changes to tilt the playing field in favor of a perpetual Democrat majority***8212;specifically:
1) Packing the Supreme Court (to allow Democrats to fill 4 new positions and assure victory for their agenda, regardless of Constitutional merit)
2) Creating a New Democrat-majority state out of Washington DC (rather than allowing the residential areas of the district to revert to the state of MD.)
3) Ending the filibuster, so that the senate no longer is structured to ensure that 60% must agree to pass contentious laws.

When we fretted about this last fall we were assured that Biden was the ultimate middle-of-the-road guy, a reasonable correction to the divisive Trump.

Well, here we are, and all of the aforementioned items are on the agenda. Do not expect any to be vetoed by Biden.

My question(s) to you is: were you simply repeating talking points? Did you want this all along, and just pretended to be in favor of incremental changes that are supported by the majority?

I mean, I can't imagine that you would think that it would have been fine for the GOP to enlarge the court during the Trump administration. So, my conclusion is that this is a power grab, necessary to allow the enactment of laws that would never pass through justices that actually enforce the
Constitution (which statehood for DC does not permit)

If I sound a bit overwrought, it's just that it seems to me to be the end of our 2-party system. Or am I somehow wrong and we weren't lied to?

Do you remember when Republicans BLOCKED Obama’s very solid pick Merritt Garland.
Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnells BS excuse was it was too close to the election.
Total BS and no such law supported that refusal.

Then two months before this Presidential election after Ginsberg died , McConnell did the total reverse and said the Senate would do a quick vote to allow Trumps pick for the Supreme Court.

FYI .....the Supreme Court is not limited to 9 members and the number has varied through our history .

This thread being REFLECTIONS ON ELECTION ......should be a confirmation of Trump the traitor. He tried to steal a fair election, he tried to force even Republican state leaders to cheat on the election ( he’s on tape doing so ) and he purposefully allowed attack on our Capitol, leaders and Vice President .

Real questions that I have about the current administration:

Does anyone think the Biden tax plan is going to help the economy? How about the capital gains tax increase?

Does anyone think the Biden tax plan will boost the middle class, boost small businesses and lead to more jobs?

If so, I'd love to hear how because to me it sounds like a real job/economy killer.

We had to pay state taxes and came close to having to pay federal this year. We pay in the max amount and also have other deductions. This is the first time ever having to pay either state or federal. Our accountant says it is going to get much worse. (We do not make anywhere close to 400K in case you are wondering).

True, but it didn't change the number of justices, just who they were. Your example is poor at best because it doesn't answer the question that was asked, it just points to something totally different, as though that was somehow relevant.

A little history lesson for you. For over 150 YEARS the number of seats on the supreme court has stood at 9 seats. Originally the number was 6 back in the 1700's but as the Country grew more seats were added until we reached the present number in 1869. In 1937 Roosevelt tried to pack the court so he could get his New Deal (Hmmm.... where have I heard that phrase before?) laws passed but was ultimately defeated in his plan. While you are correct that the number of seats has varied it has NEVER been more than 9 seats total. (In fact, Biden himself, back in 1983, called the idea of packing the court a "boneheaded idea" A "terrible, terrible" plan).

Really? Your source please. What is your proof that he tried to force leaders to cheat? Be specific. Let me point out that the Dems are in total control of 90% of the media, Social media, the presidency, both houses of Congress and now they want to pack the Supreme Court with yes-men (or women) members that will rubber stamp and pass anything they (the far left Democrats) want. You want facts? Trump received MORE votes (75 MILLION) in the last election than ANY person that ever ran for the office. He even received 2 million more than Hillary. He lost because of the electoral collage, which is how it should be. However there was and still remains a large amount of suspicion about certain states he lost due to irregularities in counting of ballots and mail in ballots. Although the lawsuits that followed were thrown out by various courts, 98% of them were thrown out not because they were invalid (in fact several judges said they had merit and that he probably would have won them) They were thrown out because the statue of limitations had expired. So if you call filing lawsuits "trying to change the election" you're exactly right.


I'll ask you again, where is your proof that Trump tried to force anyone illegally to change the outcome? Why do you keep dodging the question?


Exactly HOW did Trump almost get our VP killed? You mean in the capitol protest? The only persons killed in the protest were 4 protestors. (Don't tell me the BS about the capitol police officer that was killed after getting hit with an fire extinguisher because that has been proven to be a false narrative. In FACT, the police officer died of 2 massive strokes 2 days after the protest. Several doctors have stated that his death was not connected in any way with the protest. There exists NO video of any capitol police getting beaten, so where is your proof of that lie?

Since you're so concerned with facts, here's some for you to consider. You're correct that Biden got over 81 million votes, compared to Trumps 75 million. But the interesting thing is Biden only won 477 Counties nationwide. By comparison, Obama won 873, and Trump won 2497. So that makes any intelligent person wonder how it was that Biden got more votes than both Trump or Obama. He only won half the Counties that Obama won, and only one fifth what Trump got. Must be that new math.



I agree that Trump lost the election because of the electoral college count. In fact, look at my previous post where I said that was as it was supposed to be.


But if you really believe that Biden legitimately won the election, despite the numerous irregularities and videos that have been posted all over the internet of boxes of votes suddenly appearing from under a table, despite counting in the middle of the night when no one was around, despite the mail in voting scams, despite the refusal to fact check voters names, despite voter harvesting that has been proven to have occurred then I truly feel sorry for you, because you're going to be blindsided like never before.


We're already paying almost a dollar more for gasoline, and tonight he (Biden) proposed even more spending (up over 6 Trillion). The costs of cars, food and housing is already going through the roof and once the new taxes on companies takes hold you're going to see inflation on everything like never before. Add to that the Russians are sending thousand of troops and equipment to the Ukraine border, the Chinese are doing military exercises next to Taiwan, Iran is going full tilt toward gaining a nuke and we have a porous southern border that has doubled the number of illegals entering the United States since Biden took over. It doesn't take a genius to see the problems we're in. NONE of which happened during Trumps tenure. The rest of the world is watching while Russia and China and Iran are testing Biden. You'd better pray that he gets it right (or learn how to speak Mandarin).
