If your motor has a quick disconnect, un hook and see if u can build pressure, if not crimp fuel ine between ball and motor and check then.
If you do need a new ball, i ve had best service out of the mercury OEM. Worst ones are the sierra, rubber does not stay pliable very long Hey don t worry, happens to everyone occasionally... |

That exact same thing used to happen to me , then I realized the arrow on the ball wasn't tilted upward

Phatdaddy it is a Sierra , but it's a new bulb / ball the arrow is pointing to the engine too , weird , and I didn't try viagra , don't need that yet lol ,I like when my ball gets firm, it used to. I'm going to check all the connections first , that should be a one way check valve too I believe, if I take the connection that on the engine I should be able to see fuel coming out ,right? Let you guys know what happens.
