I'd look at your carbs. The floats are supposed to close and stop fuel flow when the bowls are full. Sounds to me like that isn't happening which is why the bulb doesn't get hard. :head: |
If your motor has a quick disconnect, un hook and see if u can build pressure, if not crimp fuel ine between ball and motor and check then.
If you do need a new ball, i ve had best service out of the mercury OEM. Worst ones are the sierra, rubber does not stay pliable very long Hey don t worry, happens to everyone occasionally... |
That exact same thing used to happen to me , then I realized the arrow on the ball wasn't tilted upward
|
Phatdaddy it is a Sierra , but it's a new bulb / ball the arrow is pointing to the engine too , weird , and I didn't try viagra , don't need that yet lol ,I like when my ball gets firm, it used to. I'm going to check all the connections first , that should be a one way check valve too I believe, if I take the connection that on the engine I should be able to see fuel coming out ,right? Let you guys know what happens.

Hey wellcraft , what do you mean pointed upward? Mine is vertical, that should not matter I think
