so if i put the tank dead center of the boat. where should the console be? like i said i have no information as to where the old one was. so im kinda shooting from the hip. any of you guys have any input on where the console should go? i will be putting my batteries in the console, and eventually down the road adding a t-top. i was thinking around 7-8ft. from the transom. this will give me some room for fighting fish. also may be putting a leaning post/baitwell. but im not 100% yet.

Can't help you with the tank and bracket, but I do have a console from a Monarch 20' that I was going to put on Craigslist. It's in pretty good shape and has all the room you need inside for batteries and electronics, etc. You can see it in the pics on the boat it used to be on. (Now deceased) Understand, this is just the console, the steering wheel, engine controls and gauges have all been removed. There is a seat molded into the front of the console with storage space under it as well. If you are interested I'll take better pictures of it and send them to you. It's free to you, but you'll have to pick it up. I live in NJ so figure a several hour trip from you to me and then back. If you have a pick up it should fit right into the bed with no problems.

I had same problem with my CC with a bracket. You want it bow heavy. I ran a 26" setback and a 55 gal tank. Judge from this photo in my gallery where it sits in the hull, but I ended up ripping up the front deck to move the tank toward because it was to stern heavy the way it was configured. Pics in gallery show access to tank fuel sender. I suspect it should be 12" forward from where it was originally installed.

How much room do you have behind your console to the transom? Like back of the steering wheel? |

Sorry, your going to have to guess from the photo (Boat is gone), but the 6" deck hatch was located on top of the fuel sender in a 55 gal Ploy tank.

Kevin I moved mine 6 to 8 inches forward from factory. I wouldn't go any further forward than mine. They way mine is set up would really put you very close to where you wanna be.

Is the inner liner structural? Who ever had the boat before me. Cut it out.

Oh, I don't know,..... I've driven to Va, SC and Fla at various times to pick things up. But as you wish. Free to anyone that wants it. I'll put it on CL on Friday if no takers.
