Admittedly, could use better mounting. When we run, my brother likes to stand so he disconnects the cooler and usually never connect it back and the cooler slides around

The because of cushion thickness, cooler has to be hinge toward centerline so the lid will open.
I like that. Wife's concerned with stability side to side while having to hold on to kids. I love it other than that.

Lots of great ideas. Wifey likes the bean bag chair idea. I like that if me and a couple buds want to go fishing we could stash them in the cuddy when we're fishing and have a huge open deck. Also like the seat tommydoe has which would situate it much like what Skunk has, just not a cooler. Decisions decisions.

We went ahead and ordered a bean bag. Came in today and the first test run was a success. Daughter approved.

offshore guys have been using bean bags for years. If any of ya'll are making youre own bench seat, take a look at Pioneer boats rear bench, I've worked on a couple and they work real good. I plan to copy the idea on my V

I have 3 Big Joe bean bags. Got them at Walmart - $30 a piece. NOT Marine grade but they hold up real well. Can't beat it.
