Seating arrangements...lets see them.
Ok cuddy guys, what do you have for seating. Right now I have 2 nice pedestal seats I could put in my boat however I have 3 small children (all 4 & under) and need to figure out a nice seating arrangement for them. My center console has the bow seating which is great but for obvious reasons this boat doesn't have that. I was thinking about a lounge seat for the port side but just not sure that'll be enough. But at the same time I don't want to eat up all my space. Lets see some pics of what you guys have.

What about bean bag chairs?
It serves several purposes. |

I know a few guys on here use folding deck chairs for extra seating when needed. That's what I use for my V20. I have 2 pedestal seats mounted port and starboard, then two folding right behind them. When it's just my son or a friend and I fishing we either leave the seats at home or store then in the cuddy. (Sometimes when drifting it's nice to have a seat at the stern of the boat). For obvious reasons you can fold them up and store them when not needed. Another possibility would be a back to back pedestals on the starboard side and a lounge style back to back seat on the port side. (that would give you a lay down suntanning seat for the wife if it's just the two of you in the boat).

And of course marine grade prices
https://www.ocean-tamer.com/ Children less than 10 years old usually fall asleep easily during boat or car rides. Think about these as a couch/chair easily moved, added or omitted. Not to mention the cushion when in rough water. |

I have two pedestals up front (one with a gas shock which is ugly but very comfortable) and a pair of folding chairs under the black garbage bag shown in the pic. When the girls come we break out the chairs and stow the covers from the milk crates so they can put their bags and snacks in them. When fishing we sit on the milk crate covers. Works well and the chairs are very stable and comfortable. We have two of the ones at the following link. I also want to get a single wedge shaped bean bag for napping and store it in the cubby most of the time.

100 qt cooler in place of the passenger pedestal.
Backrest made from pvc fence post and pvc board lumber. I did not want any holes in deck or hardware to trip on so I have an eye bolt in the side of the cooler and an eye bolt in the wall of the cuddy and I use a clip to hold together. Admittedly, could use better mounting. When we run, my brother likes to stand so he disconnects the cooler and usually never connect it back and the cooler slides around The because of cushion thickness, cooler has to be hinge toward centerline so the lid will open. |
Seat
I have a bench if you want it won't work in mine due to inboard, i am splitting back to back seats and making movable seats beside motor cover . I will text you pic in a min
