yes, it is great access to steering and for fishing electric wires between cuddy and gunnel

Removed mine and just have a blank fiberglass panel in it's place, like others said access hatch.

Took what was left off the door off and mounted a fire extinguisher in the '84...Haven't decided what to do with the '87 yet...
