Bought that same reel last year & it turns out there are two or three model changes, I bought a used one for parts & dang if they didn't fit.

what bubba said! id get the numbers and run them through penn on there website if possible, or with a phone call. dont mean its not a good deal, but it might not be the current model

not to derail, but if you guys need any penn parts, contact half hitch tackle on panama city beach. ive never found a part they didn't have. many listed as obsolete or no longer stocking. also prices about half listed on the internet sites. helps a lot of you have the penn part #

West Marine has that reel on a rod for $199 right now, http://www.westmarine.com/buy/penn--...os--P014772487 Weve got thre WM stores in town and I get a little off with my Port Supply account. I know shipping kills buying rods on line. Been thinking about buying one or going with the Battle II
