penn spinfisher v 7500
so i'm looking at this reel and i'm gonna pull the trigger but........
it's a $180 dollar reel. why is it on ebay for $130? is it the same reel? are there different ones? is one guy getting $50 less for the same product? thoughts. comments. insults. |
no brick & mortar store, less overhead.
he stole it doesn't really have it, just wants your money not as greedy as first guy i usually get stuff off of amazon, pay a little more, but not as much worries |
this guy's on ebay. only one bad experience out of hundreds of deals on ebay. if it's the same reel, i cant see spending $50 more. i do like to support my local but the guy is like shopping at tiffany. he wants $200 for the same reel.

If you pay with Paypal on Ebay then no worries. Dont send a check or money order, if the deal doesn't work out, ebay washes their hands of it.

$180 will almost buy a 10500 Spinfisher V!
|
i saw that 10500 spinfisher v. huge. the thing is like a coffee can.

If its from Mgonz87 on ebay it's legit, I just bought one a few weeks back and it was $130.00 with shipping and it shipped quick. It came in an unopened factory sealed Penn box. I get all my reels and fishing line from ebay.

Things have changed on Ebay. You're pretty much covered unless you send check or moneyorder |

As to the reel, I've found that you have to look at the ad on eBay carefully. New is not the same as "factory refurbished" and they have to tell you if it is. So even though something may come in a factory sealed box, it might not be "new". That's not to say that refurbished isn't good... in some cases it's even better, cause it's been hand inspected to make sure it's ok. And yes, I get most of my rods, reels and line on eBay also. You simply can't beat the prices. |
