Thanks for the replies. That will go along way to diminish those concerns. I am assuming poly tanks don't have to be replaced?

Lol, theoretically no, they won't corrode, but it is a boat we're talking about.

If you replace sending unit, confirm full seal by filling fuel to full and watch sending unit under pressure of full fuel.
