I have a thru hull ducer in my Monte Carlo
It had 4 of em when I got it and since I only needed one I just bought thru hull fittings and bull caps to plug the holes.... MUCH easier than glassing and takes out any risk of not glassing the patch right. Unless you have a VERY fast boat the drag is prolly a non issue. |

Patching a small hole like that is pretty easy. I typical do these from both sides. It's a dirty job but not at all difficult. 30-60 minutes a day for a week and was stronger than a plug.
