I agree, can't beat the real thing. Reminds me of vinyl siding.

Teak is beautiful on someone else's boat. I had a lot of teak on my charter boat, committed the ultimate sin and Painted it.

That sounds really cool! The extra weight might be a small problem, but I would love to see what the end product looked like. I really like the look of teak on these boats. Haven't seen anyone ever do a deck though.
