Ohhhhh...
My wife would love to move to the west coast of FL.
She has a job lined up for herself and everything.

Now I just need to find a job and move the boats to FL or slime down the fleet before moving.

NOTE....would love to have a backyard that didn't have firewood piled up.

Looks like we are getting away with only rain and wind with this storm.
I'm still trying to get a good day to get the Whaler out of the garage and covered so my wife can have her spot back for her car. She's not crazy about scraping windows early in the AM.

I covered my boat yesterday....just before this wind and rain....I used destroyers idea of the oval 15 x24 pool cover.....works out nice however I wished I had bought the next size larger. I put two main supports, one just ahead of splash well, the other right at the cuddy door and then one at the bow. Then a 24ft. Ridge down the middle.....the ridge is approx 5ft. Above The deck so it has a nice steep pitch to shed snow. I suppose the height of the ridge is making me wish I got the next size larger. The 15ft. Width is fine but it's a touch short on the 24 ft length. It does cover the bow and the motor but I could use a little more length....it will be fine. In addition....it's a nice cover, better than any tarp. Nice tip destroyer.

The pool cover is a great idea.
Seems the tarp I bought last year to cover Joe's Sea Ox is made from a lighter gauge material then what I have bought in the past. Tugged a little to hard on the grommets and they just tore right out. Should have followed Destroyers advise and got a pool cover.

Good guess!
1965 Pontiac GTO. All original but the tranny. It has 102,000 miles. Trunk still has speckled paint. It was my Dad's.
